Add pantry item
Quantities use your preferred package unit. Shopping estimates account for pantry stock where matching package details are available. Pantry stock is only consumed when you confirm cooking.
Scan a product
Use your camera where supported, or enter the barcode manually. Product details require internet and availability from Open Food Facts; always confirm the ingredient name and package.

Backup files
A backup file (including your ingredient photos) protects you if a phone is lost. Keep one somewhere safe, like Google Drive or email.
Automatic backups
This phone saves a copy of your data every day, plus a weekly copy, and before any big change (joining a family, importing, resetting). The last 10 daily copies and 8 weekly copies are kept, so you can go back about two months.
Help & feedback
Something not working? Send a report straight to Whole Kitchen's maker. You'll see exactly what's included before it's sent.
AdvancedPackage sizes, prices, start over
The usual package each ingredient is bought in. Shopping amounts are worked out from these.
How much a cup or one of each ingredient weighs, so recipe amounts turn into what you buy and nutrition adds up. Can be filled in from USDA measurements.
Prices you type in, or pay when you finish a trip, are used for cost estimates. Clearing them keeps package sizes and trip history.
Only for kitchens started before version 9. Updates built-in recipes whose ingredients still match the old values; your own changes are kept. Download a backup first.
Removes this phone's recipes, plan and edits, then asks how you'd like to start. A backup is saved on this phone first (Automatic backups).
